Job Title: Property Sales Manager
Flexible Part time (5-10 hours per week)
£ hourly rate based on experience (between £10-14/hour + £50 bonus per tenant found)
Caledonia Lettings are a small bespoke lettings company offering all-inclusive hassle-free beautiful homes. We are looking for an energetic team player to promote, sell and manage our unique properties and lifestyle and support our customers through the whole process from first contact to move-in.
This role would suit someone who has flexibility in their working life. The work (5-10 hours per week) needs to be spread across 2 evenings per week for viewings (+ occasional Saturday morning) plus 2-3 hours per week working and reporting to our Ops Manager.
Ideally, you will have some experience in the property management/lettings sector but it is not essential.
The role:
Manage end to end communications and the customer journey from prospective tenants to emergencies
Manage adverts and promote properties through SpareRoom
Organise and attend viewings and move ins for new Caledonia tenantsAscertain tenants’ suitability via email/telephone and viewings and negotiate the best achievable rent
Manage referencing, and on-boarding process for tenants
Help ‘stage/dress’ rooms to make them attractive to prospective tenants
Collaborate with the rest of the team to provide excellent customer service
Skills and attributes required:
Natural people-person with excellent communication skills who can connect with prospective tenants and build great relationships
Sales orientated and target driven with strong organisational and self-management skills
Flexible can-do attitude
Strong work ethic
Team player willing to support the wider team when required
Flexibility to spread work across several days in the week
Nice to have:
Some sales & marketing experience is desirable
An Interest in property management and improving living in London for young professionals is a plus.
Experience in property management would be desirable
Our homes are largely located in South West London (Clapham/Balham) with 3 further properties in SE London ( Peckham Rye, West Norwood) and so the successful applicant should ideally be based within 30 minutes of Clapham. We will cover reasonable travel expenses to/from the property.
